ABSTRACT

Acinic cell carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor of salivary gland, excepcially in childhood. Its characteristics are slow growth, local invasion, and late metastasis. Treatment of acinic cell carcinoma is surgical, though the value of radiation therapy in the management of recurrent tumor is not firmly established. Recently, authors have experienced a case of slowly growing mass in parotid area in 13 year old girl. We removed the mass as superficial parotidectomy and report it with a brief review of the literatures.
