Benign tracheobroncheal tumors are less common than malignant neoplasm, but they are relatively more important because they are operable and curable. Neurilemmomas are originate from sheath of schwann cells, which are characterized by benign, solitary, and encapsulated mass. Primary tracheal neurilemmomas are extremely rare, with only 16 cases has been reported in the world literature. Recently, we have experienced a case of neurilemmoma of the trachea in a 22-years old male, which removed removed successfully under local anesthesia through tracheal fissure approach.
