Sphenoethmoidal mucocele is rare, only about 130 case have been reported in the literature since they were first described by Berg in 1889. Its anatomic relationship is important, because the variable symptoms are usually dependent on the degree of involvement of adjacent vital structures. So, the diagnosis is difficult due to subtle
symptoms, but careful radiologic evaluation including CT scan, helps in the correct assessment of this lesion. The authors experienced 3 cases of sphenoethmoidal mucocele which were removed by intranasal sphenoethmoidectomy.
