A Case of Neurilemmoma of the Tongue

ABSTRACT

We have recently experienced a rare entity of neurilemmoma of the tongue at Severance Hospital. The patient was a nine years old boy who had noticed gradual swelling of right apex of the tongue with dysphasia for two years of duration. The tumor was resected under the general anesthesia, the lesion was closed with three sutures of 3-0 chromic catgut, and histophathologically the tumor was verified as neurilemmoma of the tongue.
