Case 1 : A male newborn of 3 weeks, with the dyspnea and dysphagia of 4 days duration. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was isolated in culture. Satisfactory recovery was obtained in 4 days after the incision and drainage.

Case 2 : A male infant of 3 months, with the dyspnea and left cervical swelling of 12 days duration. Needle aspiration resulted in good but only tenporary remission. Soon, the local swelling resumed and the incision and drainage was necessary.
