ABSTRACT

In review of the literature cited one can see many prospective authors have reported on the ""foreign bodies in the air and food passages"". For the study on the matter our department had already yielded the reports in 1954, 1962 and 1963 respectively accounting for the age, sex, variety of foreign bodies, location and duration of the lodgement. A follow-up survey has been made on 120 cases during the consecutive four and a half year-period from January 1964 to September 1968 and among those cases the coin was the most frequent as in the past.
