The causes and pathogenesis of the atrophic rhinitis are not known in detail yet, and also the treatment is not definite up to today. But the symptoms, classifications and pathological findings of atrophic rhinitis are known to a certain extent. The author has experienced a case of atrophic rhinitis forming crust and atrophy on the inferior and middle turbinates in 19-year-old male one-egg twins with chief complaints of nasal obstruction, purulent nasal discharge, offensive odor and intermittent scanty nasal bleeding for 2 years. This is to report case with the various examinations and the available references.
