ABSTRACT |
The pyogenic granuloma appears rare on the nasal septum, and is at times difficult to differentiate from the hemangioma or the angiofibroma, etc. on the Kiesselbach's area.
Case 1 : A 29 year old pregnant female had suffered from the intermittent nasal bleeding from the left nostril for 2 months, and accompanying with nasal stuffiness 1 month later. A bean sized, dark red colored, soft mass was visible in the left nasal cavity. Removed it clear.
Case 2 : A 34 year old pregnant woman had suffered from the frequent spotty nasal bleeding from right nostril for about 5 months, and nasal obstruction of the right for 2 months. An index finger tip sized, pinkish colored, soft mass sttached on the Kiesselbach's area. Removed it. Histopathologic study reported pyogenic granuloma. And no recurrences yet.
