ABSTRACT

The author has recently experienced a case of Rhinolith in the right nasal cavity without any other specific complications. A 24-year-old Korean male soldier visited to the O.P.D. of E.N.T. CAH on March 3, 1970, with the chief complaints of nasal obstruction, mucopurulent discharge, headache and the episode of frequent nasal bleeding. The patient stated that his symptom began 9 years previousely. Anterior rhinoscopy of the nose revealed that a black & brown mass was seen between the septum and the inferior turbinate at the anterior portion of the right nasal cavity. Under local anesthesia, the mass measuring 2.5 cm×2.0 cm×1.0 cm and weighting approximately 3 gm was removed with a nasal forceps.
