Difficult decannulation started in Nov. 1976, when he was done tracheotomy for sudden onset of dyspnea due to airway obstruction. It was tried to be removed tracheal cannula on two occasions without effect. The cause of difficult decannulation was found to be 5×4×2mm sized fish bone piece in the subglottic space, which was surrounded by connective tissue.
