The authers experienced a case of foreign body of the epipharynx. In foreign body of food passage, coin is the most common foreign body. An infant, aged 1 year and 6 months-old, miss wallowd a coin. Though the emergency exmination with chest X-ray, it was not seen on chest X-ray film. Thereafter repeated examination with chest X-ray including head, the coin was discovered in the epipharyngeal portion and removed with forceps easily.
