ABSTRACT

Since the first description of a case of aspergillosis of nose and paranasal sinus by Schubert in 1885, there has been reported rare cases of this disease. It has been apt to increase due to frequent use of antibiotics or steroid hormones. The clinical pictures and X-ray findings are similar to chronic suppurative paranasal sinusitis. The treatment of choice is surgery and its prognosis is relatively excellent. The authors recently have experienced a case of aspergillosis of maxillary sinus and report with a reivew of literature.
