ABSTRACT |
Inverted papillomas are so-called because the neoplastic or hypeplastic epithelium seems microspically to burrow into the underlying stroma rather than grow outward from the surface. One of the characteristic features was its tendences to recur after removal. Author experienced a recurrent case in a 45 years old man about two years ago. Before the check-up by the author three times of intranasal operations was performed during last four years at the E.N.T. Clincs under the impression of nasal polyp. There is no evidence of recurrence at the present time.
