The heterotopic gastrointestinal tissue in the tongue is extremely rare, and only 15 cases were reported in the world literature. Recently a case of heterotopic gastrointestinal tissue was encountered involving tongue, mouth floor, and submandibular region in a 12-month-old girl. Histopathological study showed gastrointestinal tissue, pancreas, and repiratory mucosa. The heterotopic pancreas in the tongue has not been reported in the literature yet. This paper was attempted to report the case with a brief review of literatures.
