ABSTRACT

The granuloma gravidarum is a hyperplastic granuloma due to the endocrine imbalance associated with decreased oral care and poor nutrition. It is a predominant gingival lesion, occasionally palate, nasal septum and nasal cavity. It usually occurs in the second months of gestation and will often regress at the end of pregnancy. Such granuloma often grow rapidly, ulcerated and can be misdiagnosed as a hemangioma. Such lesions should be treated by the complete surgical excision and electrocautery. Recently we experienced a case of pregnancy granuloma of the left inferior turbinate on 23 years old woman.
