The classic syndrome described by Ramsay Hunt consists of facial nerve paralysis which herpetic eruption involving the external ear. The patient which the author experianced at first complained of earache, which was followed by facial weakness and hearing disturbance. Vesicular eruption on the eardrum, face, inner buccal mucosa and tongue on the right side was developed. But there was no evidence of lacrimation difficulty. The case was cured with antibiotics, steroid, vasodilator, high vitamine and symptomatic theraphy. The author reported this case with review of literature.
