ABSTRACT |
Lymphoma is the cancer of the non-epithelial origin in lymphatic tissue and may arise in any organs or glands of the body. Clinically, malignant lymphoma is mainly found in lymph node especially on cervical region, but gastrointestinal tract, paratine tonsil, nasopharynx, oropharynx, nasal cavity and paranasal sinus may be involved. Carcinoma of the nose and paranasal sinus is relatively rare, comprising only 2-3% of all malignancies of upper respiratory and alimentary tracts. Especially malignant tumors of the paranasal sinus are extremely rare, comprising only 0.2% of all human cancer. Recently, we experienced 2 cases of malignant lymphoma arising from paranasal sinus and diagnosed as the same on histopathologic study. So, we report these 2 cases with review of the literatures.
