A Case of Angiolymphoid Hyperplasia with Eosinophilia

ABSTRACT

Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia characteristically occurs solitary or multiple nodule on subcutaneous or dermis or either. First report was done by Kimura on 1948. Clinical finding demonstrate eosinophilia and histopathologic finding dose proliferation of endothelial cells associated with eosinophil, lymphocyte, histiocyte, and other cells infiltration. And these cells aggregated a foci. We present a case of angiolymphoid hyperlasia with eosinophilia developed in 28 years old man. He have been surgical excision 6 years ago for multiple nodule around his both ear auricle and neck area. Significant blood eosinophilia (41%) was found in differential leucocyte count and confirm diagnosis was done by histopathological examination. After surgical excision, We took good result for this lesion.
