ABSTRACT

Mucocele is a chronic, expansile cyst-like lesion of the paranasal sinus. Most of the mucoceles are found in the frontal sinus and ethmoid sinus, and their treatment can be achieved only by means of surgery. But the method of surgical approaches should be varied according the site and size of the mucoceles and combined diseases. Seven cases are discussed for the standpoint of presenting signs & symptoms, radiologic assessment and especially surgical approaches.
