8 Cases of Simultaneous Bilateral Neck Dissection

ABSTRACT

The presence or absence of metastasis to cervical lymph nodes in head and neck cancer ia a matter of profound significance and probably affects the possibility of cure of cancer more than any other single factor. Neck dissection is the treatment of choice in most patients with metastatic cancer involving cervical lymph nodes. Recently, we have experienced eight cases of simultaneous bilateral neck dissection in advanced head and neck cancer. So we report these cases with review of the literature.
