ABSTRACT

Kimura's disease is solitary or multiple, and benign nodular lesion located frequently subcutaneous tissues of the head and neck. The histologic characteristics of the tumors showed the combination of poorly differentiated proliferating vessels, tissue eosinophilia and lymphoid follicle formation or arteritis or both. The lesion was described first time by Kimura in 1948, to a condition that featured ""unusual granulation combined with hyperplastic change of lymphatic tissue"" and called it ""eosinophilic lymphoid granuloma"" Recently the authors had experienced a case of Kimura's disease arising from upper neck. The patient treated by the surgical excision.
