ABSTRACT

The kinds and frequency of bronchial and esophageal foreign bodies are varied with the age, customs, social and economical environments. Generally they can be removed under skillful endoscopy, but, a few of foreign bodies require external surgery for removal due to many difficult problems. We experienced two cases of foreign bodies which could not be removed endoscopically and were removed through external approach, and report them with brief review of the literature.
