A Case of Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia(HHT)

ABSTRACT

Epistaxis is a disease frequently experienced by otolaryngologist. And the etiology is very diverse. HHT is one the etiologies. We recently have experienced epistaxis of 58 year old female caused by HHT. This is the first case of epistaxis caused by HHT in Korea. This case was confirmed by symptom triad and biopsy. The patient was treated with septal dermoplasty. Review of relevant literature is presented.
