ABSTRACT

Bullet wound may have more damage in the depths than would be supected from the initial part of the wound track. Also, they have a much greater probability of deep, extensive contamination. It is necessary to have immediate, adequate treatment of projectile wounds. The 57-year-old female was accidentally shot with a hunting gun. The multiple fragmented bullet particles were found in the left parotid gland and mandibular ramus. They were removed safely under the general anesthesia. We report this case with review of literature.
