ABSTRACT

In general, the removal of the foreign body which was inserted incidentally in the external auditory canal is not difficult, however we frequently undergo difficulties with the removal of spherical foreign body. Especially the foreign body in the external auditory canal is frequently happened in children of which the external auditory canal is narrow, and picking up spherical foreign body with usual instruments is difficult due to its gliding and spherical surface. So the injury of the surrounding tissue often occurs. The author would like to introduce the technique for removal of spherical foreign body in the external auditory canal easily using cyanoacrylate type adhesive without injury of the surrounding tissue.
