Report of Hypopharyngeal Foreign Body (Three Cases)

ABSTRACT

Three cases of hypopharyngeal foreign bodies, which were happened accidentally due to the parent's carelessness, were reported. Case 1: A kind of cloth-hook (19 mm×14 mm×1 mm, 900 mg) was found at just front of the vocal cord from a 11 month old male baby and removed. Case 2 : A iron ball (diameter 14 mm, 14 gm) was removed from the supra-glottic area of a 1 month old female. Case 3 : A part of watch materials (wheel, 27 mm×19 mm×1 mm, 5 gm) was removed from the supra-glottic area of a 3 years old girl.
