A Case of Nasal Syphilis

ABSTRACT

A 32 year old male was admitted to the Pusan National University Hospital on 13th of Mar. 1970, with complaints of nasal obstruction, frontal headache and alopecia for one month duration. On physical examination, nasal cavity revealed hyperemia of nasal mucous membrane with grayish mucous patch and bilateral nasal vestibule revealed ulceration and bilateral inguinal lymph node were bubo indolenta. The cardiolipin microflucculation test revealed strong positive reaction and histopathological finding showed character of syphilis. We treated with penicillin, which was good in result.
