ABSTRACT

The effects of furosemide and cis-platinum on auditory brainstem evoked responses were observed in rabbits with simulation of 50, 70 and 90dB at 2KHz and 6KHz log on. The results was as following : 1) There were the loss of auditory brainstem evoked responses at 5 and 10 minutes after intravenous injection of 100mg/Kg furosemide. And the increment of wave V latencies were noticed at 30 and 60 minutes after injection. Auditory brainstem evoked responses after injection were recovered to normal response in 6 hours. 2) The increment of wave V latency after infection of furosemide was mainly due to the increment of wave I latency. 3) There was no significant change of auditory brainstem evoked response after injection of 5mg/Kg cis-platinum.
