ABSTRACT

Inverted papilloma arising from the lining membranes of the nose and paranasal sinuses are relatively unfamiliar lesions which have been reported in the literature under a variety of titles. There is marked tendency of local recurrence and pressure absorption of surrounding bone, and occasionally changes into malignancy. Recently, we have experienced two cases of inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and maxillary sinus. We report the cases with review of the related articles.
