ABSTRACT

This case that the instrument could be made proves “Necessity is the mother of invention”. In the Field Hospital the poor facilities and financial difficulties badly needed some invention for operations. Not only the Field Hospital but Korean Hospitals can not afforded to buy expensive instruments for surgery. Yet it is necessary to have satisfactory operation. This was the motive to make these Head light, Suction, Monocular and Binocular microscope. The microscope has been used for tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy and facial nerve surgery. These have helped successful operation.
