ABSTRACT

2 cases with the histories of chronic sanguino-purulent otorrhea and pains, which were found to be affected with the squamous cell carcinoma of the middle ear involving the mastoids and infiltrating the temporal bones are presented for the purpose to reemphasize the importance of early diagnosis of such a condition. The lesions were removed sungically and were followed by cobalt-60 irradiation.
