The author has experienced a case of cylindroma arising from base of the tongue and vallecula. A 44 years old male was visited to Han-Il Hospital on march 28th 67 with chief complaints of dysphagia and egg sized swelling on the tongue base for 6 years duration. X-ray study of chest revealed coin density on the middle lobe of right lung and lower lobe of left lung. Histopathological examination revealed cylindroma. The patient was cured by Co⁶⁰ radiation without surgical treatment.
