ABSTRACT

Pilocarpine solution was injected to the nasal septal membrane of rabbits as autonomic poison in various conditions such as cocain local anesthesia, ether general anesthesia and chloropromazine injection, and their WBC in circulating blood were counted. The results were as follows : 1) Nasal septal stimuli resulted reduced neutrophil ration with some various degrees. 2) Under the local anesthesia, stimuli resulted decreased eosinophil ratio, less than the control group. 3) Under the general anesthesia, stimuli did not result any changes in eosinophil ratio. 4) Chloropromazine injection resulted largely increased eosinophil ratio, but this increased ratio was reduced by septal stimuli, also this reduced ratio was higher than the ratio of control group.
